A fund turns down most of the applications it receives, and many of them are not bad, only early. Second Look adds one link to your rejection email. If the founder opens their project on Madrid Ventures and agrees to let you know, you get a notice the day its FounderSeal reaches the bar you set, with audited evidence behind it.
We are not moving forward this time, but we would like to look at your project again. If you open it on Madrid Ventures and choose to let us know, we will get a notice when you have shown, with checked evidence, what we were still missing: 60 FounderSeal points. You can start here: https://www.madrid.ventures/en/fondo/tu-fondo
madrid.ventures/fondo/<your-name>, with the text already written in three lengths (one line, a paragraph or a postscript), in Spanish and in English. You paste it once into the rejection template in Gmail, Outlook or your CRM. There is nothing to integrate.
By email and on the phone, to the people on your team you choose. It includes the project name, sector, FounderSeal and the proof families with approved evidence. It is sent once per bar; if you raise the bar, you get a new notice when the project reaches it.
The default bar is 60, the level from which audited evidence is needed. You can set it between 40 and 100 and also require approved proof in specific families: someone pays, revenue repeats, a technical or regulatory validation.
How many founders arrived through your link, how many opened a project, how many agreed to the notice and how many are already in the Seed tier or at your bar. Names only appear when a project that agreed reaches your bar.
Nothing. They only count in the total of arrivals through your link, without a name.
No. The link and the text go into the rejection template you already use. Your dashboard explains how to do it in Gmail, Outlook, HubSpot and other CRMs.
No. A project can agree to notices from several funds, and from 40 FounderSeal points (Seed tier) it appears in the Madrid Ventures dealflow like any other. Madrid Ventures charges no commission on investments.
The AI audits each rung the day after it is claimed. What is unclear goes back to the founder to fix, and anything that looks like fraud is reviewed by a person. Rungs do not count until they are approved. The full method is on the page about how the FounderSeal is calculated.
Nothing during the pilot. Connecting the link and receiving the notices has no cost. If there is a paid plan for funds later on, we will tell you in advance.
No. An account on Madrid Ventures with a confirmed email is enough to receive the notices and see the dashboard. To message founders through the platform you need the Investor membership; you can also contact them the way you did the first time.
A project you turn down today may be a good investment in a year. Second Look tells you when there is evidence to check.
Ask to sign up my fund →Madrid Ventures is not a crowdfunding platform or an investment firm and does not advise on or recommend investments. The FounderSeal is informative: it summarises what has been checked, it does not certify a business. The notice says that a project has reached the criteria the fund set; the decision is always the fund's.
